Rasterize standalone SVG files to PNG locally in your browser. ResizeNest validates untrusted SVG before rendering, blocks active or external resources, uses a self-hosted isolated Resvg renderer and reports the real PNG dimensions and bytes.

image processing stays in your browser. ResizeNest does not need your original image uploaded to an application server.
Results come from the actual processing pipeline, with measured dimensions, bytes and format instead of placeholder estimates.
Process one image or a local batch, then download current successful results.
Three simple steps
Choose, drop or paste standalone SVG files. Unsafe active content and external resources are rejected before a sanitized preview is created.
Choose output width, height or scale, keep the viewBox ratio locked when desired, and choose transparent or solid background. PNG has no fake quality slider.
Convert locally, review worker-produced PNG dimensions and warnings, then download one PNG or a ZIP of current successful results without leaving /svg-to-png.
Useful details
Understand what the tool does before you download the result.
SVG is parsed as untrusted input rather than inserted as active page markup. Scripts, foreignObject, embedded/external images, external URLs, event handlers, imported styles and unsafe resource references are blocked before the self-hosted Resvg WASM renderer runs.
Intrinsic width and height are used when present; a valid viewBox supplies the source ratio when explicit dimensions are absent. Width, height and scale controls are explicit raster output choices, and final dimensions come from the worker result.
ResizeNest does not fetch fonts referenced by an SVG. Supported generic/Inter text renders with self-hosted Inter. An unavailable named font is replaced with Inter and produces an explicit SVG_FONT_FALLBACK warning instead of silently depending on a device font.
The exported PNG contains pixels at the chosen dimensions. It no longer scales as vector artwork. PNG encoding is lossless for the supported rasterized pixels, but rasterization itself changes vector content into a finite pixel grid.
Transparent output keeps SVG alpha in PNG. Choosing a solid background asks the isolated renderer to composite that background during rasterization so the preview choice and output intent remain visible and explicit.
Complex filters and recursive or excessive use references are rejected by safety budgets. Valid files in a mixed batch remain processable, retries reread immutable originals, and processing, cancel, retry, result, download and ZIP all stay on /svg-to-png without source upload.
Questions, answered
Start with the SVG intrinsic size or viewBox ratio, then set width, height or scale. Keep ratio lock on to avoid distortion, or turn it off only when you intentionally want a different raster aspect ratio.
External font fetches would make untrusted SVG rendering depend on network resources and could leak requests. ResizeNest uses self-hosted Inter and warns when an unavailable named font falls back.
No. PNG is a raster image. The SVG is rendered to a finite pixel grid at the dimensions you choose, so the PNG does not retain vector paths or infinite-resolution scaling.
No. Active content, external images, remote URLs and script-like behavior are rejected rather than fetched or executed.
No. Options, processing, retry, result review, individual download and current-success ZIP export remain on /svg-to-png, and does not upload the SVG source to a ResizeNest server.
